Got this to replace my Pop Socket, which had started making my hand hurt really bad after using it for a few years. I've had this little strap on my phone a few months now (attached to my Speck clear case) and have had no problems at all. Still stuck tight, the handle slides fairly easily, it's sturdy enough that I have no issues. I may be easier on things than most folks, but I've gotten a lot more out of this than I was expecting! And best of all, the hand pain eased off and disappeared within a month. Not sure if this one will ever give me hand pain, but it's a much more natural positioning of fingers than the Pop Socket and you're also not trying to grab the thing between your fingers.Fits on the back of my phone good, and matches my phone case!I have an iPhone X. I also utilize a magnet to hold my phone in the car, which takes up pretty much all the space next to the camera. This strap, if applied vertically, gets in the way of the magnet so I had to apply it diagonally, which is kind of awkward. However! Placing it diagonally makes it dig less into my fingers while holding it since it has sharp edges! It is NOT silicone. It is just a piece of soft plastic. Not sure how long this will last. All I used before was Popsockets and they were bulky. Also, if you applied it like I did with the part that slides pointed up, it will catch on pockets like the Popsockets do when you have had the strap open for awhile and close it to put into your pocket. Either install upside down and have the loop higher or make sure you stick your hand over it when sliding into your pocket. I probably would not buy again.Ordered this loop to add to a basic phone case I got for my new iPhone 12 Pro— my previous phone case had one built in which I loved, and I was hoping to replicate it. It came quickly and the Glass Green color was pretty, but the edges of the loop (that you run your fingers over when using) were SHARP. In the cold weather, I could easily see my hands getting cut with thick plastic paper cuts regularly.I can say it stuck and held well— it’s the standard 3M backing on most PopSockets etc.— so if you clean your phone case well before, it adheres nicely. I can’t speak to how long or well it holds because it was immediately on and off my case, partly because of the issue listed above, and partly because I’m a goober and neglected to think about how this addition would not allow me to wirelessly charge on a mat or puck (oops...).Not bad for $8-9, but certainly not great.Almost two weeks ago, I bought two of these (one for my personal phone & one for my work phone). They’re sturdy and the adhesive is great for silicone cases.But, they’re super dirty! These photos are after scrubbing with 409. Phones can get icky no matter what, but I want my phone to be & look clean.I gave 3 stars for sturdiness because: I’m usually in a hurry, and popping out the loop is fine. But sometimes when I pop the loop out, the loop bit detached from the other bit (not an adhesive problem. Just the little opening where the hardware goes).Great product if you don’t mind looking dirty or want just a black loop.Loved this. I was sad I had to remove it because my magnetic charger wouldn't work with it even though I put it as close to the edge as I couldIt's too long for my Pixel 5. I had to put it on at an angle in order to keep the fingerprint sensor on the back fully exposed. The loop edge is a little bit rough because it's definitely plastic (not a silicone texture). But the rigidity is what makes it work well as a "kickstand"There are a lot of reviews stating this doesn't stick. If your phone case is flat and you clean it with alcohol first, it will stick fine.
