I like this popsocket. I got it because it is a great fidget to calm my ADHD tendencies. The popsocket has blue glow-in-the-dark "sand" in it. The sand flows slowly from one side to another. It will glow a very bright blue of exposed to enough light. I was impressed by how well it could glow. There is a small round plastic peg inside the popsocket. Yes, you can see it very clearly at all times. I assume this is for structural support to ensure the sand can flow and to keep the space from collapsing. The back of the popsocket is noticably thicker than other ones I have owned. It may not fit in some car mounts. The build quality seems to be just okay. The magsafe ring attachs firmly and holds the popsocket well. The popsocket is compatible with adhesive bases if your case does not have a magsafe back.
