After an unfortunate accident where I fumbled my phone with the kickstand out, which caught on the side of a table and broke as it fell, I've had to buy a second one of these. I initially bought the galaxy pattern, and I am replacing it with the cherry blossom pattern.The first one lasted me about 6-7 months before breaking (though I don't consider it a quality issue, I'm sure if I had been more careful it would have lasted much longer). I drop my phone a fairly frequently, so it held up pretty well all things considered. If you can see in the picture, some of the paint is chipping off from the middle and the elastic is ever so slightly frayed, but otherwise in good condition.My phone has a sliding door for credit cards, and the grip has never gotten in the way or damaged the case. It stuck firmly to the case the entire time, a bit too well in fact! It was a bit tough to remove the old one. The package suggests using dental floss to pry it off, but I ended up having to use an old gift card and some goof off to get the job done.The elastic starts out a bit tight, so you have to let it stretch out with use to reach a comfortable level. I like the strap but value it more as a stand. I think the stand angle on portrait and landscape mode are perfect.You can see in the picture that the new one (cherry blossom) has a bit of white on the elastic where the pattern was not fully transferred on. I dont remember having that issue with my first one. It's not a big deal to me, but possible visual defects might deter others.Overall I really love this grip/stand. It's sturdy (just be careful not to fling it at a table when the kickstand is out lol), comfortable to hold, flat enough that I don't feel it at all in my pocket in skinny jeans even when it's against my leg, and gives my black case a little bit of visual interest. I would definitely recommend for the price!
