I was surprised how heavy it actually is! That's a good thing though. It isn't cheap feeling and it's definitely built well.There's a learning curve when it comes to moving it and getting it to do what you want it to. At first, I thought I was going to have to return it. As I kept using it, I realized it was a me issue and not a product issue. You can't try to force it and have to learn how to move it. It isn't always a direct line from one angle to another. You might have to spin your device 180° and then tilt it to get it to a better angle instead of just tilting it a little. It's not like the wire ones where it just goes where you want it to. That could be an issue with some people I guess.It is definitely much sturdier, nicer, and holds your phone or tablet MUCH better than the cheap wire ones. I'm about to buy another one for my bed. This was a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She thinks it is SO cool and loves being able to "float" her tablet above her face and watch her videos. ? Other than having to learn how to move the arm, it does adjust smoothly and works great. I love the clips that came with it for your charge cord! They are awesome and keep your cord perfectly placed and out of the way. My daughter said she doesn't even realize her tablet is plugged in/charging half the time. Lol. Definitely going to recommend this to friends and family! ^_^
